メテース メールアート プロジェクト 2022

これは、アーティスト間を郵便で行き来する共同作成アート、そのアートが旅する時空の軌跡、そして関わった人全てを含めた全体をアートと捉えるホリスティックな取り組みです。

This is a holistic effort to make the whole art including the collaborative art that goes back and forth between artists by mail, the trajectory of space-time that the art travels, and all the people involved.

2022年1月20日

メールアート。初回の取り組みです。

今回は、私の世界を切り分けたカケラに時空を旅させてみます。

世界は今、分離のエネルギーが大きく働いています。

その一方で、新たに繋ぎ合わされて統合されていく部分もあり、

分離と統合が進行しつつ、私たちは進化しているのかと感じています。

Mail art. This is the first initiative.

This time, I will let Kakera (a piece of my artwork), who carved out my world, travel through space and time.

The world is now heavily energized with separation.

On the other hand, there are also parts that are newly connected and integrated.

I feel that we are evolving as separation and integration progress.

今回のカケラは、一枚の絵を分離させることでできています。

そのカケラを旅させる中で、それぞれの紙の上で別の世界が創造されていくプロセスを、まずは、時空とアーティストに委ねたいと思います。

私に戻って来れば、その紙の上の世界に私も参加します。

（もちろん、個人情報など安全面で心配な方もいらっしゃいますから、その辺は配慮します。）

自分も個々のアートワークの世界の一部でありながら、時空とアーティストに創造を委ねつつ全体を眺める位置からその個々の創造を見ていきます。

私にとっては新しいスタイルのアートです。

This Kakera is made by separating one picture.

First of all, I would like to entrust the process of creating a different world on each piece of paper to space-time and the artist while the pieces are traveling.

If it come back to me,  I will join the world on the paper.

（Of course, there are some people who are worried about safety such as personal information, so I will consider about it carefully.）

While I am also a part of the world of individual artwork, I will look at the individual creation from the position of looking at the whole, entrusting the creation to space-time and the artist.

It's a new style of art for me.

私だけではなく、参加して下さった皆様にも、出来上がった作品をここで見ていただいて、二つの視点を楽しんでいただけたらと思います。

分離した世界を統合していく作業を、このページで楽しんでできたら良いなと思っています。

I hope that not only me but everyone who participated will see the finished work here and enjoy the two perspectives.

特別にkakeraのリクエストがあった方を除いては、直感に委ねて、誰に送るのか楽しみながら準備をしています。

Unless you have a special request for kakera, I'll leave it to my intuition and enjoy preparing for who to send it to.

連想ゲームのように思いついたものが描き足されて創造されるアートワークの世界が、私に直接戻されるのか、それとも、近くの親しい人へと一度パスされて戻ってくるのか？

Will the world of artwork created by adding something that comes to mind like an associative game be returned directly to me, or will it be passed once to a close friend and returned?

いつか戻って来い！という気持ちで楽しんでいます。（その後締切日は7月7日に確定しました）

Come back someday! I am enjoying it with that feeling. (The deadline was fixed on July 7th)

アートワークが戻ってきても、時間の許す限り、何かを付け足して、また別のアーティストの元へ巡回せさるのでしょうが。

Even if the artwork comes back, I'm sure I'll add something and let it travel to another artist as time permits.

旅の終わりの日は、2022年7月7日です。

その時まで、旅してもらいます。

心配しないで大丈夫です。完全に仕上げて返送する必要はありません。

むしろ、次の人の創作が加わる余白がある方が楽しいです。

世界を一緒に作ることに参加してくださると嬉しいです。

Don't worry. It does not need to be completely finished and returned.

Rather, it's more fun to have a margin to add the next person's creations.

I would be grateful if you could participate in creating the world together.

● まず、「カケラ」を画用紙の好きな場所に貼り付けます。そして、自由に何かを付け加えて、その瞬間の自分を紙の上に表現してください。楽しんでください。

次の人にも何か付け加えてもらいますので、完成させる必要はありません。その瞬間のあなたの表現を楽しんでください。

● Copyleft （コピーレフト）：共有、改変可。ただし、封筒の宛名や差出人の部分の個人情報はSNS等で共有の際は非公開として、個人の安全に注意してください。

アートの転送も行われますが、今回は一度私に戻ってから別の封筒で別のアーティストに転送しますので、宛先が個人名や住所の場合も安心ください。

● Deadline（締切）：締切日は2022年7月7日。この日が間近になりましたら、このアートを持っている人は、締切日に間に合うように発送元：青木せい子まで返送ください。

● 返送方法：封筒も捨てずにアートの一部として利用していきます。

宛先と差出人を訂正して、入れ替えて返送ください。

● アーティスト名の記入：公開しても良い名前を作品の裏に書き入れてください。

ペンネームやビジネスネームが可能です。外国の方も参加されるかもしれませんので、

ローマ字表記の記載はお願いします。

●    データの共有：アートの写真等のデータについては、途中の絵も参加者全員が共有可能です（最終のデータ作成は誰か手伝ってくれると嬉しいです）。　

最終データは参加者全員に提供されます。葉書やカレンダー作成、作品に物語ができれば絵本等に自由に利用可能とします（商用も可）。みんなで同じものを作るのも素敵かもしれませんね。提案ください。

● First, paste "Kakera" (a piece of my art) anywhere you like on the drawing paper. Then, feel free to add something and express yourself on paper at that moment. Have fun!

You can complete your art but, don't need to complete it as the next person will also add something. Enjoy your expression at that moment!

● Copyleft： Can be shared and modified. However, please be careful about personal safety by keeping the personal information of the address of the envelope and the sender part private when sharing it on SNS etc.
Art will also be transferred, but this time it will be returned to me and then transfer it to another artist in another envelope, so don't worry if the destination is your personal name or address.
 
● Deadline : The deadline is July 7, 2022. When this day is approaching, please return it to the sender Seiko Aoki in time for the deadline.
 
● Return method : We will use the envelope as part of the art without throwing it away. Please correct the address and sender, replace TO and FROM, and return to me.
 
● Enter the artist name : Please sign your name that we can publish, on the back of the work. Pen name and business name are possible. 
 
● Data sharing : As for data such as art photographs, all participants can share the　pictures in the middle of the process.　
Final data will be provided to participants, and freely used for postcards, calendar creation, picture books, etc. (commercial use is also possible). It might be nice to make the same thing together. Please make a suggestion.
